NASW is a membership organization with a dual mission to:
- Promote, develop, and protect the practice of social work and social workers; and
- Seek
to enhance the effective functioning and well-being of individuals,
families, and communities through its work and through its advocacy.
Our
primary focus is on serving our members.
Services include professional
development, legislative advocacy, member support and resources, and
providing opportunities for professional networking. Our intent is to
attract talented people to our profession and promote a capable and
ethical face for all social workers. As a result, our efforts can
benefit the individuals, families, and communities that social workers
serve.
The efforts of NASW Wyoming are made possible by membership dues, fees from
educational offerings, national support, and the commitment and
dedication of our volunteer leadership.
